M\u00fcnir Nurettin Sel\u00e7uk\u2019un \u00f6\u011frencisi olan amcas\u0131 Mecdinevin Tanr\u0131korur\u2019dan 2.5-3 ya\u015flar\u0131ndan itibaren me\u015fk ederek m\u00fbs\u0131k\u00ee ile; bestek\u00e2r ve keman\u00ee Mustafa Sunar\u2019\u0131n ud \u00f6\u011frencisi olan annesi sayesinde de ud ile tan\u0131\u015ft\u0131. 14 ya\u015f\u0131ndayken, Ferahn\u00e2k saz sem\u00e2\u00eesi ile bestek\u00e2rl\u0131\u011fa ba\u015flad\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>\u0130talyan Lisesi\u2019ni ve Devlet G\u00fczel Sanatlar Akademisi Y\u00fcksek Mimarl\u0131k B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc&#8217;n\u00fc bitirdikten sonra Ankara\u2019da, \u0130mar ve \u0130sk\u00e2n Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131\u2019nda i\u015fe girdi. 1973-1982 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda TRT Genel M\u00fcd\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc b\u00fcnyesinde programc\u0131l\u0131ktan daire ba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131na kadar \u00e7e\u015fitli g\u00f6revlerde bulundu. 1987 y\u0131l\u0131nda Konya\u2019da, Sel\u00e7uk \u00dcniversitesi E\u011fitim Fak\u00fcltesi\u2019ne ba\u011fl\u0131 M\u00fczik E\u011fitimi B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc&#8217;n\u00fc kurdu.<\/p>\n<p>1989 y\u0131l\u0131nda, b\u00f6brek rahats\u0131zl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n tedavisi amac\u0131yla K\u00fclt\u00fcr Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan ABD\u2019ye g\u00f6nderildi. Burada bulundu\u011fu s\u00fcrede Maryland ve Princeton \u00fcniversitelerinde \u00f6rnekli iki konferans verdi; Turkish Music Quarterly dergisinde iki \u00f6nemli makalesi yay\u0131nland\u0131; hat sanat\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6\u011frendi ve mevcut eserlerine 117 eser daha ilave etti. 28 Haziran 2000 tarihinde de vefat etti.<\/p>\n<p>Ud icras\u0131nda, kl\u00e2sik Tanbur tavr\u0131na yak\u0131n, kendine \u00f6zg\u00fc bir stilin sahibi olan ve \u0130ngilizce, Frans\u0131zca, \u0130talyanca, Latince ve az Arap\u00e7a bilen Tanr\u0131korur\u2019un, T\u00fcrk m\u00fbsik\u00eesi \u00fczerine say\u0131s\u0131z makalesi, yurt i\u00e7inde ve 22 ayr\u0131 \u00fclkede verilmi\u015f pek \u00e7ok tebli\u011f, konferans ve ud resitali vard\u0131r. \u0130\u00e7lerinde Mevlev\u00ee Ayinleri de olmak \u00fczere \u00e7e\u015fitli formda 500 civar\u0131nda eser bestelemi\u015ftir.
